From Havilah to Shur

Ishmael settled from Havilah on the west to Shur in the East. His descendants may have settled in Paran which is modern day Mecca. In pre-Islam days the Sky Goddess Allat and the Sky God Allah were worshipped. The location overlaps some of the Land of Canaan. The Wadi El Arish region is the western border of the Promised Land.
